December 2009 Newsletter!

Theme Christmas and Direction/Preposition
It’s hard to believe that December is already here! Christmas isn’t too far away, and the children’s excitement is growing with the anticipation of the upcoming events. This month, we will be studying the themes of Christmas and Direction/Preposition along with practicing for our December performances. I am very pleased to inform you that all of the children are doing a fabulous job!
In November, K3 and K4 students learned an amazing amount of information regarding Health and Personal Hygiene. K3 students were able to make sentences like “He has a stomachache. His stomach hurts.” “She has a fever.” Some even said “Maybe she’s absent because she has a fever.” “I have a runny nose. Tissue, please!” Wow!! K4 students learned the materials well and were able to hold a conversation like: “What’s the matter?” “I have a headache.” “You should go home and get some rest.” “You should go to the doctor and take some medicine!” “Maybe you should get some ice!” Fantastic job, everyone!
As this is the last newsletter for 2009, I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday!
